Navan Parish Mission - March 2009

Message from the Parish Team and the Parish Pastoral Council:

We welcome the Redemptorist Mission Team to our parish and we join them in extending this invitation to you to come and be part of this Mission celebrating 170 years of St. Mary’s Church.

With the increase in the population of our parish in recent years, we see the Mission as an opportunity to welcome all and to offer support to one another as we walk the Christian path in life. We look forward to meeting you during this special week in the life of our parish.

Yours in Christ,

Letter from the REDEMPTORIST MISSION TEAM to the Parishioners of Navan

Dear Parishioners,

We are delighted to have been asked to come to your parish and look forward to meeting you and getting to know you during the days of the Parish Mission. We want to encourage you all to make a special effort to take part in this very special week of prayer.

The Mission is for all parishioners: people of all ages are welcome; those who have lived in the parish for a long time; and those who are newcomers. If you are a regular Massgoer you will be most welcome. If you do not attend Church or feel you have been hurt by the Church in the past, you will be especially welcome.

Don’t give up on the mission without giving it a try. We missioners commit ourselves to work to
the best of our ability to help you in every way during the week of the mission. What we ask of you is a commitment to give your time to join in the various celebrations of the week. If you give generously, you will receive in abundance.

May the Lord bless you and all your loved ones and may your week of mission be a time of renewal for each and everyone of us.

God bless,
Fr. Tony Flannery CSsR
Ms. Fainche Ryan
Br. Derek Ryan CSsR
Fr. Denis Luddy CSsR
