Photographs of Pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi - October 2007

A group of 50 people from the parish recently went on pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi. We spent five wonderful days in Rome where we visited all the most important and most famous sites. The highlight of our visit to the Eternal City was without doubt the Angelus with Pope Benedict in St. Peter's Square.

From Rome, we travelled to Assisi for two nights where we walked in the footsteps of St. Francis, visited the beautiful Basilica de San Francesco where we had the priviledge of celebrating Mass before leaving for Rome airport.
